What We Do

What We Do

Heymans Kole Group is geared towards sustaining & expanding our current national footprint while maintaining high safety standards & excellent levels of customer care.

Heymans Kole Group has coal allocations in place with mining companies. Through these allocations we can supply our customers with a broad range of coal such as:
A – C Grade: Peas, Small Nuts, Large Nuts & Anthracite

We maintain sufficient stockpiles in our depots situated in Standerton & Polokwane. These stockpiles are kept to ensure continued supply to our clients in the case of breakdowns at the mines or other unforeseen circumstances that cannot be prevented.

We are in process of securing supply of RB1 & RB3 coal for the export market, as we render the transport services on the product as well, we deliver the turnkey solution for most of our customers, simplifying & adding value!

Petroleum Products

Petroleum Products

Heymans Kole Group is certified by the Department of Energy as a wholesale license holder in terms of the Petroleum Products Act, 1977 (Act No. 120 of 1977).

This allows us to directly procure & transport diesel products for consumption by our own fleet of vehicles, by eliminating the chain of supply we ensure efficient & reliable supply & most importantly this contributes in providing a cost effective transport & supply service.

We aim to satisfy our clients with their petroleum product needs at competitive prices as well as a high standard of service delivery & reliability.

We currently have 3 operational fuel tankers that are servicing clients in the agricultural, transport, retail & industrial sectors. Our vision is to become a major role player in the sector within the next 3 years.

Cross-Border Transport

All cross-border consignments require a cross border permit when travelling by road. There are a number of requirements which a transport company needs to adhere to if they want to effectively transport goods across the border into another country. If you were to transport a consignment exceeding 3,500 kilograms you would be required to obtain a cross border permit.

We are continuously updating our cross-border road transport permits to ensure that we give our customers peace of mind when we transport their cargo across the border & into another country. We transport chrome, metal balls, coal & manganese via road freight into & out of Africa & ensure that all permits are in order before we do so. We do not want to put our customer’s cargo at risk. For safe, reliable & expert cross-border consignment, why choose any one else than Heymans Kole Group who has a proven track record, knowledge & experience when it comes to your cross-border consignment needs? Delivering on time, every time!

Short Hauls

Heymans Kole Group has established itself as a proficient long & short haul transporter. Short haul transportation may seem similar to long haul transportation however, operations, control & procedures differ as much as the distance between the loading & offloading points in order to be efficient & cost effective as the same time.

Over the years we have gained invaluable experience & developed procedures & control measures to operate an efficient short haul operation. Efficiency directly results into cost savings for our clients, reliability & optimal production.

By positioning dedicated personnel & establishing strategic depots in the areas where we have short haul contracts we ensure control & effective management. Monitoring of loading points, offloading point & routes takes place on a 24-hour basis to ensure we are informed and at the pulse of operations.

This improves efficiency & allows us to implement contingency plans when necessary for any unforeseen situation that may occur & disturb turnaround times as well as the load safety of our clients’ commodities.

We continuously endeavor to ensure our short haul operations are

  • Efficient with the shortest possible turnaround times.
  • Safe & Responsible, for our personnel & the public at large.
  • Productive, drivers & personnel remain motivated & well rested due to more demanding & longer days.
  • Precise, based on current & accurate information to manage & maneuver situations that impacts operations.
  • Cost effective, reducing costs by implementing innovative & controlled expenditure.
  • Empowering, with preference to local procurement, employment & initiatives to improve & sustain the well-being of the communities in which we operate.
  • Transparent, by continuous communication between our operational team, contractors & the client. This also assists with the solving & prevention of problems that may occur in the production line and processes.
